First Build 26" x 48" Any advise is welcome

Post by Xtreme metal » July 17th, 2019, 7:51 am

Just started my build on Sat. 7-13-19. Made a lot of progress over the weekend. Now I am just able to work on it after work. I have several pics I will be posting. Please let me know your thoughts or ideas. I have to complete by Mon 7-22-19. Its a gift for a co-workers parents. 50th Anniversary. Thank God I found this web site or it most likely wouldn't have worked correctly.

Did you use the pit calculator before you started the build?
I ask this cause the FB looks kinda low on the CC.
I like the FB shape a lot.
Gonna be a single or double door?

I used the calculator. And I do think I am a few inches short but not 100% sure. The FB is 23" long by 21" wide. I plan on using the polygon style on my next build. But the customer wanted the rolled for the CC.

Very nice indeed.

Thank you all. So glad I found this site. The people on here are awesome. The grates I mad for this is cut out of 1/4" plate. I have a cnc plasma table I use for cutting my material. Saves me alot of time. If I can do anything to help anyone else out. Please let me know. Also, Does anyone know where a good place to advertise for selling these. I am trying to get started on building custom smokers and grills for people. Thanks again for all the help
