High School Pizza Oven Build

Post by ifallswelder » April 11th, 2020, 12:41 pm

My students and I prototyped a pizza oven to mass produce in our high school metals class before we were shut down for the year. Here are a few pics of the build and the test firing that the woods teacher and I did two weeks ago. This one is made out of 1/4" mild steel and we had hoped to make one out of 409 Stainless also. High school junior did all of the welding and he is going places if he sticks with it! The prototype works great and the stone temps were around 900F when we threw the first pizza in. It was done in about 3 minutes. Hope you like it.

Very nice...

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford
