My 24" disk questions.

The disk is 4" deep, my question is, do I need to weld a lip around it, and why do some weld an outer ring on them?

Also, how and where do most mount the disco on a trailer build?

Most don't mount them solid I guess it's a matter of personal preference. Mine is not attached to my trailer I just carry it loose but that's just me it works better for me that way. As for the outer ring and diving board you don't have to have them they are nice to have but certainly not a must.

:yth: The diving board gives you a place to move things off of the hot disc and the ring helps keep food on the inside and not on the ground. These features come in handy but they aren't a must.
