Hey mr Zina....you can't hijack the topic and talk about wings!
On second thought, if I had some wings I might drink less beer and do better at finding the picture differences.
Pete...(I'm sober now!) interested to see what you come up with on your picture tests. The only picture I've posted is the avatar on my heading. Had a heck of a time meeting the pixal restrictions with the picture. Ended up having to crop it more than wanted to fit it. I just don't have time to resize and crop all the pictures I want to post so any easier method you can come up with would be welcome.
This is the easiest way I've found to upload pics to any forum, this way also stores the pic on another server so the forum server doesn't get too much load from the storage.
First, login to photobucket. Then you can choose either of two way to upload.
Then select the file you want to upload(I'm using an iPad, it's slightly different from a PC)
Once the pic is uploaded, you can again choose one of two ways to copy the code to insert in you post
The first one is easy & you just click on the options in the top corner of the pic icon, then click copy.
The second on is the one I use cause it's a bit easier from the iPad. You just select the pic & then go down to the code selection on the right. Then you select the "IMG" code.
Then you just copy the code
& paste it into your post wherever you want it to be shown.
& there you have it, your pic will be inserted in your post, time for a beer.
I have used the second method described by Squiggle from both my phone and my laptop with no issues. So far the only pic I've had to resize has been the one I used for my avatar
I did the other as an option for folks that don't have, or don't want, an online account. The other advantage is the pics are now on our server so you don't get the dreaded blank pages where pics used to be in a thread because the OP got rid of them on his site.
Good info tho, for those that have a PB account. Frank also wrote a walk-thru Here.
If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?
