Things are taking longer then expected, but as there's nothing to do about it, I just have to be a little more patient.

It was finally time to light her up.

Looks good with the 5" thermometer.

Definitely need a shelf for the cyberQ, ran it with a portable battery (68,000 mAh). That thing already started a car after it wasn't started for over a month, and juiced our cell phones and tablets while on an overnight trip. I highly recommend it.
Also in the picture is the latch for the top charcoal door. It is installed up side down, and the latch won't close properly. I have to flip it so the latch is attached to the door not the smoker
CyberQ was easy to operate, but I didn't connect it to WiFi. Got to 275 in about 45 minutes

With all the pictures of just smokers you kinda lose proportion and lose the Holy s@#t this thing is huge

Yep, they are huge and heavy.
I like the 5" door thermo.

You can find them on Amazon, just look for portable car starter, or you can get them on aliexpress at half price. I'd be able to provide an update in a couple of weeks after I do a full cook, but for the trial run it went for a couple of hours, got the cooker up to temp and kept it there.
To me it sounds good to not have to worry about electricity

Good to see the Cyber Q works well with this smoker, it's exactly what I'm planning on doing. A job well done.
