Post by kcoleman0306 » July 8th, 2016, 1:57 pm

Hello all,

Im new to welding, my cousin usually does the welding for me. I was wondering how big of a welder amps/volts do you need to weld the 1/4 steel to make a RF smoker? Sorry for the dumb question.

Thank you,

a 180 or higher machine will do fine. I like my Lincoln 256 and miller 255 the best

Not a dumb question, I like at least an 200 amp Miller mig welder. This is great indoors

Making memories.
