finally, finished RF tanker on a trailer

Hello Boys,
at last I have gotten my smoker blasted and painted. The firebox is done in Ceracoat, the tank in a hi temp finish. The wheels got blasted and silver chrome powder coat for way cheaper than buying chrome wheels.
I will always be adding this and that items but it is functional for the summer bbq catering events.
Now out to make some people drool and pay myself for what I love to do, cooking and seeing others enjoy what I have made.

OH yes, I've cooked on it many times before going to paint. works great, and the calculators for firebox/tank and exhaust were spot on. Cooking a large salmon fillet (smoked) tomorrow, will have to post pics. there are other add ons to do, such as mesh sides that are removable, and other goodies. I built this with a wirefeed, a grinder and cutoff wheels. I am surprised I pulled it off. But it is a great pattern for the next one and it is removable from the trailer with minimal work. Next up is a horizontal tank of the same type that will be a clamshell bbq, just for hamburgers/chicken or other items.

I did the same with mine regarding a removable trailer. I was supposed to give the tank back to a friend who gave it to me to make the smoker as a surprise to him. He's not expecting it back so I'm not yet feeling guilty. But it works so darn well I can't give it up... YET ! You know what they say...the road to hell is paved with good intentions...
