Would it be possible to cold smoke on the DP without anything in the chute and feeding cold smoke through either of the ball valves? Love to hear thought from the group.

Get a new soldering iron and a coffee can. Fill it with wood chips of your choice and make a hole small enough to insert the soldering iron in and route the cord through the ball valve. You might have to close down the outlet some

I use an Amazen with pellets, you can cold smoke in anything that you can control the airflow in. Heck some guys just use a big cardboard box...

Here's some bacon and cheese from this weekend. ImageImage

Heck yeah!
I have been known to use a cardboard shoe box and a cooling rack....

I made some snack sticks using low temp smoking last weekend and used one of those amazin pellet trays for my smoke source, I lit both ends and had plenty of smoke. I used my temperature control for ventilation and worked pretty darned good.
