250 build

Post by Back9Q » November 17th, 2022, 9:09 pm

Well I sold my last build and using funds to go bigger

Keeping this one simple with a rounded 250 on casters with a single door. 30” outer FB with 24” inner. Will run an air gap on this one

Built gantry crane to move things around and had two tanks delivered from GA. Was able to get frame built and CC rolling today. Will work on it some more after Thanksgiving

Congratulations on finding a couple tanks, they are hard to find around here.

Can’t wait to see more pics of your build.

If you live in southeast there is a guy in GA that has a ton that have been blasted and valves removed. Pricing is good also

Solid start! Much easier to work with once it's on wheels.

Thank you for the info, but unfortunately, I don’t. I live on the western slope of CO, long ways from GA.

I’ll keep looking. Thanks again for the info!

What is the standard these days for distance door starts down from top center tank? I have quite a few valve holes that I am going to leave but debating on if I need to rotate tank and recenter top. I would probably have start door 4-5” down from center if left as is

1" above top dead center for keeping rain out and 1" below horizontal center if you want a pull out shelf.

If it's tourist season, how come I can't shoot 'em?
