Mini UDS for a Mini Member

Post by Pete Mazz » June 17th, 2016, 3:24 am

Zima Man sent me these pics. He's been looking for a small drum to make a UDS out of for traveling. Here's his oldest son being indoctrinated into the world of SmokerBuilders. He robbed parts from my UDS at the shop so he could take it on vacation with them.

I'll have to talk with Kev about proper OSHA approved footwear!

Holy smokes Pete I didn't notice you said you were robbed by the Zima Man!!!!

That's just wrong.

Although we do get a new smokerbuilder. I guess we could call it an investment.

So here is Big Blue's newborn. ..just in time for father's day! !! I gave him a new hat to gain some more height. ... plus that lid is a pain to get off. Just ended up cutting it. I love the new little feller. Hi will be going to the beach with me.
I put two 7 lb chickens on it today! Nice little size!

That Zima Man is rough on you Pete. You might have to make him sweep the shop or something.

Sorry haven't responded. ... I have busy sweeping floors. Thanks RC. ..
Here are some pics of my little drum on vacation. Took him to the beach in NJ. After a little flood we did 3 batches of wings (30 some a piece. That's what you can fit on the little feller) and then did 3 full racks of baby backs. Had to put them on rib racks, which I'm not a big fan of but dag gummit. ... they turned out better then them "chuckies" ;) Ha ha! ImageImage

Then when I got back... I took the little feller to go see Kenny Chesney! Oh boy, did he make a statement in the parking lot! Again we did some wings... I would have done more if I would have known it was a 6 hour tailgate! After a friend smelled it for 2 hours, he asked me if I could smoke some fresh Angus burgers on there!!!! Only got one picture... they went quick! Image

Smokeasy. .. your RF is not in my mini! Get that damn thing out of powder coat!
