Air intake parts list

Post by buckbuster » November 20th, 2015, 12:20 pm

Probably a silly question for you experts but I'm am new to this.
Does anyone have a parts list I could take with me to Lowes? I'm not a 100% sure what all I need, and I don't want to get home and realize i forgot something. I was going to do a ball valve and two cap intakes (3 intakes total).

Are you wanting to weld the intake on? Or no welds?

lol.... :yth:
here's the easy way....
Click here : UDS DRUM SMOKER PARTS- Buy the kit or pick out the parts you want.... don't forget the gasket!!!

but also if you want to make it the hard way.....

all pipe is Black iron:
for 3 air intakes you will need.....
3-1" pipe nipples
1- 1" 90*elbow
1- 1" by 24" long pipe nipple
1- 1" full port ball valve
2- 1" pipe caps
6- 1" electrical conduit lock rings (if not welding on the pipe nipples. seal with high temp RTV silicone)
1-2" pipe nipple for the smoke stack.

Either way. Use the lockrings if you're not going to weld and silicone
