Neat little UDS style cooker

I made this cool little smoker for a friend and his family for Christmas. Each rack is 15" in diameter. I've made a bunch of these things. Super easy and cheap to make. This one was a water pressure tank. I cut a 2" band out of it and used it as a securing lip around the inside of the lid. Added a couple inlets, outlet on the lid, handles, charcoal basket, and a couple grates and here she is.

I like that..., got me thinkin'. Especially while waiting for something new to build. Small and light REALLY fits the bill.

Thanks fellas. I use mine (like this one) all the time. It can cook two 12-14 pound pork buts. I rarely need to cook more than that around the house. Nice and portable for fishing or camping trips. I made a buddy of mine one out of two 20# propane tanks welded together. Fit nicely on the front of his camper.
