Did you start with store bacon or pork belly and cure it yourself?

Store bought thick cut bacon. Smoked low at first to render some fat then cranked it up to crisp, about 3 hours total.

Very nice. I’ve put store bacon on super low just to add smoke but never to cook all the way. Sounds like I may have to try that next time ive got the pit fired up.
