The last job was to mount some temp gauges. I am lucky to have a large range of tools on hand at work, how good are mag based drills.
I also liberated some 20mm stainless rod to make a sausage hanging bar at the top of the CC.

And here she is parked on the driveway the day it arrived home, with my 4.5 year old testing it out for size after a brief discussion we decided she would need around 9 months at 37*C to be done.

We have had it at home for about a month now and it has been lit every week end that we have not had a total fire ban, sometimes twice a week end. So far we have pumped out a couple of briskets, baby back ribs, pit beans, sausages and burgers on the top feeder flame grill.

It is now positioned under our deck where it is mostly protected from the weather and still picks up some of the view.


And for those who have been following along. She ended up weighing 520kg (1146.4lb) with all of the racks in. 430kg with everything out that could be removed.
