Got some new rub

Post by Chromeski » September 11th, 2018, 2:29 am

After reading a forum post from Bvbull200 i decided to buy some of his rub. The rub showed today and all looks great. Unfortunately prob be a couple weeks before I get the chance to try it out. Just wanted to give a shout out to Bryan and placed bbq. Pictures not loading... I'll give it another try tomorrow.

Thanks for the order! I'm looking forward to seeing what you cook with it. The rub is a labor of love for us. We've only been commercially packaging/shipping for about a year. We got in a few locations with a store in Arizona, but otherwise we just sell online. I run everything out of the little office in my home, so it's a small operation, but we appeal to the backyard hobbyists/enthusiasts, so it's a good spot for us.

If anyone else is curious, the website is:

www.pitfacedbbq.com

And just to show I've been with this site in spirit long before I joined officially, here are some of the UDS and keg smokers that I've built and that we cook on:

You are new to this site so probably don’t know that Frank asks for 50% commission when you sell stuff on his web forum. Otherwise, this site would be like a flea market with all sorts of people selling products.

Well if that's the case feel free to remove my thread. In his defense he wasn't exactly trying to sell anything I just asked how to buy it. I started the thread on my own. Nothing in it for me

No worries! I made mention in my intro thread - it is certainly a part of my BBQ story - and Chromeski inquired about picking some up. I'm not trying to sneak in and spam a forum for sales. I came here personally, not as my business, to learn from some pretty masterful DIYers and pick up a project of my own. I'm here to spend money on this site (and sister sites), not make it :D.

Regardless, just like anyone reviewing any other rub, I'm still curious to see what Chromeski makes with the Meat Massage. I'm always in for some delicious food pictures. :)
