Thank's to Everyone!

Postby DarylCincy » March 5th, 2012, 7:52 pm

Thank You All for the complyments and help I think it turn out good, I still may make some intake vents but thats all I got to complain about.
The test/seasoning burn worked out nice, lenght of burn 20+ hour burn. I got it started out at around 270 degress for a few hours then here we go, I opened the lid for a minute or so to check it out and like you said up she goes to 300 degrees and it really didnt want to come down so I just let it go at 300, then about 2 hours later I open it back up and you got it the temp went up to325 and I just left it there, closed the vents some went to bed got up at around the 12 hour mark and temp was around 240 went to work came home around the 24 hour mark temp around 170 opened the vents all the way got it up to 200 stayed there for about 2 hours then droped off.
Its ready to go now!

Thanks Again!

Sounds like an angel just got it's wings! Congrats! :kewl:

The temp sounds a little annoying - what happens if you try closing the bottom vents just before and during it's "OPEN" cycle then right back where they were?
