not gonna get too crazy on the trim tho.
- 1.5 quarts water
- quarter cup kosher salt
- quarter cup brown sugar
- one and a half quarts crushed ice from fridge
Heat water salt and sugar until water completely clears. Do not boil because it takes too long to cool the water back down to 38 degrees F.
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1tsp Cajun seasoning I use tony's
Next stir and put in the fridge until mixture is below 40 degrees F then soak chicken parts for about 1.5 hours.
