wood fired oven
Has anyone here got ideas on the best way to build a wood fired oven for pies bread and cake. I had originally wanted something moveable up to a point or possibly on wheels but more importantly really good temperature controll. any ideas

Look at the franktronic impulse build - that one is pellet drive but I know for a fact that you could build that with a charcoal/wood fire in the bottom and control it with a guru for very stable heat....
I did that on Edna and she wasn't even insulated like Frank's....

Thanks ill look at it . im wanting it for a pie oven.something i can use wood or propane to heat but won't let smoke to get to the pie

Try a squatty tank and line it with fire brick and you will have all the temp control you want.

I have all kinds of ideas for these just no time to put them on paper lol. I am thinking along the lines of what AR Senior said. the BBQ Bomb tanks will work great for this or even a fat 120 tank.
