technologically advanced UDS

Postby lazydog » June 27th, 2011, 1:06 pm

Here's some pics of my first smoker/grill, Built from stuff laying around and zero welding equipment or experience. Needing a grill that could do anything and easily be transported I worked on this for months to make it the most useful UDS

This was a fun build the smoker/grill is able to do any kind of Q'in. I am still working on a 4 grate carrousel attachment for the rotisserie. Also if anyone knows what kind of smoker this is please let me know

still working on the damn boat too.

I don't see a thing wrong with it as long as the Q tastes good! I would call that a centerfeed. There ain't a single thing wrong with Parkin next to the trailers either. I love seein the guys with the little rigs out there givin the guys with the big smokers a run for their money!

Hey, I looked at the third pic and said to myself......omg wheres the rest of the boat.

I gotta go with frank on being a center feed rig.

Just so ya know, I do have a giant azz trailer but its more for my convenience then anything. I have spent years loading and unloading stuff so that I can travel to a comp or a party. I'm done doing that.

Now everything I need cooking is in the trailer. Right now I have a permanent mount reverse flow in the trailer but thats gonna change soon. When done I will be able to unload my cookers, probably three of them, and have a place for a couple people to sleep in the trailer. Right now with the current smoker I need to keep it out of the rain and other elements but the future rigs will be insulated so the weather won't matter.

Here is the first and second smoker that I built.
