Checkin' in from B'ham Alabama

Postby SoloQue » May 26th, 2012, 2:52 pm

I probably have the least building skills of anyone on the site but I like to cook and I am currently on a never-ending quest to find a local fabricator who doesn't want to retire off of a single build. Any chance one of you metal minded folks would be interested? I hope I haven't broken every code of posting but I figured this was a good spot to pitch my sign and yell out for responses. For the last several years I have been knocking out some decent slabs and butts on a highly modified weber but it's time to bite the bullet and part with some of my mad money (that's the cash the wife somehow missed). I've done a few comps and even made the money call on a few categories but I'm a team of one and dang if my webers don't need constant attention to chug along at the really low temps. I'm not young enough to stay up all night staring at temp gauges anymore so hopefully there is a heavy guage smoker in my future or it's gonna be adios to the competition side of BBQ.
If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone
