Truck rim heater

I've been making a heater out of a couple of truck rims for a mate of mine, didn't think of taking pics of it till today so I don't have any progression pics. :?

I basically welded a pair of truck rims together, cut a chimney & a door, welded on some old springs from something(not sure what) for legs, welded on some rebar for handles & welded on a bolt for the sliding lid & final welded on some step tread grate for the bottom of the heater for the fire to sit on. Just waiting on a spring handle for the lid & it's done. Hope you guys like it. :kewl:

Hahaha, yeah that's the welding stool. It used to be the daughters but she broke the back & I modified it, pretty cool huh! :beer:

Thanks guys, I got the idea when I saw the guy at the tyre place stack two rims when he was changing some tyres. I was thinking about doing a smaller one with a couple of truck brake drums. :kewl:

First fire up was awesome, there's even a creepy adventure time fire Kingdom people face in it(advantages of having a 7year old, lol) :kewl:
