Looking good!!!If the smoker doesn't work out you can always use it as a safe. LOL!!!!

I like the stack stopping where you did. Like Frank said, you can always make it adjustable if you want.

And thats a nice looking trailer your buddy has.

Hey guys, I talked to Frank the other day and got a lot of great info. Just wondering how will rig operate if fire box is undersized according to calculator. Does it make it harder control or maintain temps. Just curious.....
I will be mounting it up on trailer pretty soon and will have some pics.

if your FB is too small you will not have enough air mass in the firebox to be heated and it will have a hard time building up to temp. the air mass in the firebox is what we are moving thru the smoker to transport the heat from the fire to the cook chamber.

Got it... I went and got a trailer to modify for the rig....Hopefully will be rolling smoke soon!!! :grillin:
