Watching the news tonight and there is a story about the "lone star" tick. Apparently it carries an allergen that may cause the person bitten by this tick to have allergy to meat and meat by products. The guy who has it says he needs to carry an epi-pen and the reactions now by eating any meat can cause deadly reactions.
Even a Twinkie can cause a major probes...it is made with some kind of oil made from meat!
Going for my 5th bout with Lyme disease infection in 30 years. Now after building great smokers we could wind up not being able to enjoy them ? ? ?
