Hey everyone, I'm Jason from Alberta, Canada. I've been thinking about upgrading from my set of small smokers (a homemade UDS*, a Camp Chef pellet, and a WSM) for a while and just stumbled across this site yesterday. Making an offset or cabinet is probably out of the wheelhouse of me and my friends but there are some pretty cool plans here, so I've got some reading to do.
Anyway. Hello, eh.
*Speaking of UDS. I managed to make this one last spring (which I'm pretty proud of, given how challenged I am in the handyman department). While I live in Alberta, I've been an Eagles fan since the first time I saw Randall Cunningham as a kid, so I made the Philly Special - an ode to the greatest play call in Super Bowl history ;) .

Yep, nice looking UDS
Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.
