Hello
Hello to all and thank you for having me. I'm new to the BBQ world but am a quick learner and love to read about what others are doing to grow my knowledge on all things BBQ.
I currently cook on a Shirley Fabrication 30X80 with cabinet doors, and absolutely love it Paul and Tyler did an amazing job on my cooker and I am more than pleased with it.
I've been looking at different gravity feed cookers just to make some of the long cooks easier. I'm here to learn as much as I can from each of you about BBQ, smokers, and anything else BBQ their is to offer.
Thanks again,
Big Kountry

Welcome to the crew
Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Re: Hello
Welcome aboard!! The Shirley's definitely build some fine pits, I remember when they were posting on this forum years ago. The plans for the GF's are pretty awesome. I don't have one myself built I've watched a lot of guys build and cook on them and everyone raves about how well they work. I know what you mean about the lack of sleep on the long cooks, I just cooked a 15lb packer on my stick burner and there was very little sleep to be had.
