First Smoker

Postby iron.wagon.bbq » April 16th, 2018, 5:42 pm

Ok so my first smoker was a pellet add on that I built into a fridge, Loved it worked great until, it didn't and burned down my restaurant.
So I am going to build my second smoker and this one is going to be more air tight than a submarine. But a long time ago I worked at a little
restuarant here in kansas, and we had a man from a company that sold smokers at the time the smoker was called a Jedmaster ring of fire.
It was a rotisserie with a fuse setup in the bottom air tight and I loved making Q on it. What I would like to know is if anyone has any designs
similar or pictures of one as it was 15 years ago and my mind is a little fuzzy.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the crew!

There’s several roto smokers on the site but I’m not familiar with the one you mentioned.

So, are you going to rebuild the restaurant first or the smoker?

Kinda like the chicken or the egg kinda thing, I’ll bet.

Smoker of course DT. That way he can check out the thing is "fire-safe" before rebuilding the restaurant. :D

Actually we are already running a new concept that is pizza, but I want to reopen the BBQ place next year.
