Greetings from Iowa

Postby isuhunter » November 14th, 2017, 11:09 am

Hi everyone! I'm new here from Iowa and have a love for smoking different things. I also enjoy doing my own projects and have been on the quest for the "perfect smoker".

I currently have a UDS which I like however I don't like it for big cooks doing multiple meats (not enough space). Also I'm not a big fan of it for sausage or snack sticks or bacon.

This past summer I bought a Millermatic 211 and have a itch to build something big with it! I want to build a vertical smoker. I'm here to learn and gather ideas and seek advice.

Welcome, plenty of help and ideas to be had on this forum. Just ask.

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford
