I use it for marinating meat. It works great depending on how strong a flavor you are looking for. I've overdone meat before made it too strong. It's a great addition to your arsenal of go to BBQ tools.

I sure use it afterwards. I heard it speeds the process but haven’t tried it. I would only do that with jerky personally.
