1st Tiny Hineys on the Drum

Post by SAFETYHARBORREDNECK » April 17th, 2018, 6:52 am

1st time using the Drum to cook my pulled pork. Also 1st time wrapping in foil instead of in the pan.
Was a little nervous to say the least.
All in all it turned out ok.I'll admit,it did cook a little hotter than I wanted.Once I realized that, I adjusted the temp lower, but not before I burned the bottoms a bit.
Not much, but enough. As you can see in the video though, for the most part, the rest of the meat was tender and juicy.
Also had a small snafu in that one of them had a leak somewhere. I was scared it would burn up like that guys chicken in the other video I shared, LOL,but all in all it turned out pretty good.

Yeah, it was great.Just need to learn to control the the temps better.
I've got a temperature gauge somewhere.Guess it's time to dig it out, LOL.

Looks good.
