MINI Fatties!!!

Post by SAFETYHARBORREDNECK » March 24th, 2018, 7:40 pm

Never could figger out how to weave,so I made some miniature versions of the Fattie.
Just wrap a piece or two of bacon and be done with it!
I used 1 lb beef,1 lb sausage,1/2 a stick of Pepper Jack cheese. I cut said cheese in half and then sliced that half into 1/4" slices.Wrapped the meat mixture around it,wrap it in bacon and sprinkled some rub on it.
Turned out pretty good,but hey, I'm biased!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

The weave doesn't make it taste any different. :needfood:

Hey Roger those look great. That idea may cause me to make them more often. The whole weave and rolling process can be a bit challenging.

Nice work

In hindsight, they're a little large.
Next time I'll make them Jalapeno sized so I can use just one slice of bacon.
They were tasty though.
Only cooked 3 of them yesterday.Gonna cook the other 3 today, along with some ABTs and bacon wrapped sausage bites.
