Venison anyone?

Post by Big T » February 18th, 2018, 1:36 pm

What happens when you mix 1.5lbs of sausage with 1.5lbs of bacon burger, add cheese, wrap in bacon and coat with rub? I don’t know but the processor called and said my order was ready so we’re going to find out. Oh and we’ll slather it in that Yummy Tummy BBQ sauce that everyone has been talking about. Stay tuned.....Image

Image just as I suspected, it’s great!! The Yummy Tummy BBQ sauce was a hit with the bunch around here, kind of sweet and smoky. I would definitely recommend it. Thanks again YTQ !

I have never heard the term bacon burger....what is it? I’m guessing it is a mix of beef with bacon???

It’s a mix of ground venison with ground bacon. The venison is very lean so we normally add beef or pork fat but occasionally we add bacon to the mix and use it to make burgers.

That does look yum. Interesting ingredients. I might have to try that sometime.
