Post by decker » August 1st, 2017, 8:35 pm

Started this thing thinking it was going to be a quick, easy build, I never would've thought there's so many things to consider any ways here's some pictures, started this thing about 2 weeks ago

Welcome.
Looking good so far. And I do like your workshop. So much space...

Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

Whether you think that you can, or that you can't, you are usually right. Henry Ford

Welcome aboard!! There's definitely a lot of work that goes into building a good smoker.

Thanks, I think it's coming alright, everything is staying true. I guess I should've described it a little. It's a 250 gallon tank with the ends off, it's 62" long with 1/4 " steel. The end caps are 1/2" and the fire box is 3/8". Would like to stay away from plates, but we'll see what it does I guess first
