Doc's Sweet Mustard

Post by DocMorgan » May 17th, 2012, 1:51 pm

1 cup prepared mustard (I use the cheap stuff, plain yellow)
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed (I prefer "light" brown)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt (Kosher is best in my opinion)
1 teaspoon black pepper (finely fresh ground is best in my opinion)
1 teaspoon celery seed
(optional) 1 teaspoon Tabasco (for zest and mild heat)

throw everything together, and stir well
Nuke it till the butter melts, or heat slowly on the stove top... DO NOT BOIL OR SIMMER!
stir everything together, again
Let sit on counter top to cool

Thanks Doc! :-bd

I will make that!

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.
